Question for you…
Would you buy a jar of Peanut Butter off me for $100?
Yes or No?
I’m guessing no right?
Ok, would you buy a jar of Peanut Butter off me for $100 if you ALSO got…
- A copy of my online course Bootcamp Level 1 (11CECs) which is valued at $500?
Yes or No?

Yes or No?
Now I’m sure you would have said “yes” to one of those offers right?
What’s the message / moral of the story?
Some people will sign up to your Training program for the bonuses! If it’s a fitness program, maybe not JUST for the bonuses but the bonuses may be enough to get the prospect over the line!
They wouldn’t have signed up for your Bootcamp for $50 a week because they can do Group classes at the gym for $15..
But they will sign up for your Bootcamp for $50 a week if along with their sessions they also get
- A 12 Week Home Program
- A 12 Week Gym Program
- Your Basic Nutrition Guidelines
- A Clean Eating Recipe eBook
- A Clean Eating Smoothie / Shake eBook
- An Home Based Core Strengthening Program
- A Home Based Flexibility / Mobility Program
- A Free Skipping Rope
- A Free Resistance Band
- A monthly webinar / seminar with an Allied Health Professional
Sounds a lot better right?
There’s one important aspect when adding value though… Make sure it’s something that doesn’t cost you money or time!
If you see the examples above, everything mentioned is either ‘online’ so once you spend the time ONCE and then you never have to do it again.
The exception to the rule is the “swag” the skipping rope and resistance band… Those things will cost you a little bit of cash… But really… You can take a trip to K-Kmart and pick up a band for $10-$15 and a skipping rope for $5-$10… It may cost you $15, but if the client is paying you $50 a week and has committed to 10 weeks of training, $15 is nothing in the scheme of things!
Also important to note, the above are just EXAMPLES of ways you could potentially add value to your clients – feel free to put your own spin on things and think of some simple ways you can add value to your clients that don’t involve spending a heap of time or money!
