5 4 3 2 1 Workout:

Hi guys! It’s Jono here today. How was your weekend? Mine was AWESOME and I’m super excited because…. Game of Thrones is back on today!!!! No-one calls me between 12 and 1, please!!! Nah kidding… I’m super excited because tomorrow I’m off to Las Vegas for the IDEA Fitness Convention… It’s basically the American version of FILEX… There’s something like 10 000 trainers going from all over the world! I’ll keep everyone updated with what’s going on 🙂

So one of my favourite Bootcamp Workouts is the “5 4 3 2 1”! The concept is so simple yet it’s so fun and varied! The gist of it is…

5min drill (e.g. 5 exercises.. 30secs each… repeat twice)
4min drill (e.g. 60, 40, 20)
3min drill (e.g. 3min AMRAP)
2min drill (e.g. 2 exercises 1min each)
1min drill (1min hold)

A common question I get with the “5 4 3 2 1” workout is “Jono, that only takes 14mins.. even if you give a minute or so break between drills… it’s about a 20min workout… if I run an hour Bootcamp – what do I do for the rest of the time?”
