My new Instagram Strategy for Personal Trainers

2 minute read

Hi guys, it's Travis here again. What I have in store for you today is pretty cool. It's been a super exciting week for us at Fitness Education Online! Not only has the Social Media course been approved by ACE in USA, but Jono (co-founder of FEO), was over in the San Diego at 2 of the biggest digital marketing seminars available:

a) Digital Marketers "Traffic and Conversion" convention
b) The Social Media Examiner's "Social Media World" convention

And already I've been able to get some awesome feedback about growing my following via instagram! Have a look at my Instagram @travis_the_kettlebelle_guy and check out my "highlights" (those circles down the bottom of the bio)! It's a story I've saved pushing people to my "Facebook" and "YouTube"! Now you could also add your Snapchat and Podcast! Check it out below!

This is key for a couple reasons:

a) Instagram only allows you to have one link in your bio... most people link to their website which is cool... But this way also allows you to have your social media channels up there too

b) These "highlights" stay up there permanently... So you don't need to post every couple of weeks, etc and beg people to follow you on different social media...

c) It's PERFECT for people checking you out the first time... They see you on IG but then also will check out your other social media

d) You can add a little 10sec story saying what you cover in your other social media channels!

If you are on Instagram and you're not yet using it for your business I strongly recommend starting right now because it's a very powerful tool to get more clients. Think about it. Where do most people hang out now a days? where can you find more clients? I'm sure you know the answer to this, and nowadays more and more people use social media as proof, so the earlier you start building your social media presence the better.

If what I explained doesn't quite make sense - best thing to do is check out mine @travis_the_kettlebell_guy!

And if you're looking for more of these sort of tips than I strongly recommend having a look at our social media for personal trainers course here on our website.
