The easiest (and cheapest) way to get leads!

October 26, 2017
3 minute read

Hi guys! It's Jono here today. I'm feeling flexible! I've now added mobility / flexibility training to my routine! Every Tuesday i work 1 on 1 with a PT who specialises in flexibility and mobility - i did my first session yesterday and LOVED it! Keep an eye on my Facebook - within the next couple months you'll see some photo's of me doing the splits and full bridges! I found this trainer because I've always wanted to be more flexible and this new class opened up at my gym (a stretching one)... I attended that class and LOVED it so I spoke to trainer after class and booked in a weekly 1 on 1 session!

Now teaching a Group Fitness Class is a great way to generate leads (as shown in the example above)... BUT... if you're out of on your own and not working for a gym... Bad news is... You can't really get leads like that... Good news is... There's an easier way to get leads - online!

The EASIEST (and CHEAPEST) way to get leads online is via a free give away e.g. "Jono's 7 Day Booty Program - Click below to your FREE copy" or "Jono's Healthy Recipe eBook - Click below to your FREE copy"... People will click the add (to get the freebie) - enter their details (to get the freebie) and get the freebie sent to them automatically! This is such an EASY way to get leads because everyone wants a freebie!

This is also powerful for you as a Trainer because you set the ad up so the only people that see it are people within a couple km's of your training location and you then collect a whole heap of leads from your area! This is way easier (and cheaper) then putting an add out directly selling / promoting your bootcamp...

It's then up to you what you do with those leads.... Personally i would dedicate about an hour an day to phone calls... Anyone that opted in for the free yesterday... Give them a call the next day, introduce yourself as a local Trainer, ask about their goals and if there's anything you can do to help and offer them a free week of training...

If they accept the free trial - beautiful... If they don't that's ok - add them to your community Facebook Group, add them to your email list and tell them you've got a bring a friend week coming up in a few weeks or your next challenge starts in a few weeks and you'll contact them again closer to that time... You are already WAY IN FRONT of your competition because you've actually put in the effort to call them, introduce yourself and offer to help them... Most of the competition just send out a few generic emails or makes a few Facebook posts...

Once you've made the initial contact and made a good impression - you then spend the next few weeks "nurturing these leads"... Send out some good emails and do some good live videos on your community Facebook Group so these "leads" get to know you, like you and trust you... and then when it's time to promote your next challenge - they are PRIME!

So if you're reading this and thinking "I'm a good trainer... and when people come to my sessions - they love it and keep training with me... I just need more leads".... This system is PERFECT for you!
